Role: UX Writer / Web Editor
Challenge: Write and build a microsite for HSBC Expat, the offshore arm of the global banking giant aimed at people moving to another country.
Solution: Make the site easier to navigate. De-clutter the pages. The original site was clunky with information duplicated throughout.
How I helped: I built more streamlined pages, continuously thinking about a user’s journey and the type of products and services they might need. I rewrote the copy and made sections easier to read. I created guides aimed at people newly-arrived in a country or thinking of moving abroad.
